Our Mississippi Women’s Empowerment Summit

Tupelo, Mississippi – Our Mississippi Magazine publisher Wesley Wells has announced the speakers for the 2022 Our Mississippi Women’s Empowerment Summit. The summit is scheduled for Friday, June 3, 2022 at the BancorpSouth Conference Center in Tupelo.

“We’re so grateful that these extraordinary women have taken time out of their busy schedules to come speak at the summit,” Wells said. “They are instrumental in the success of their companies, and helping others achieve success, and we couldn’t be more excited to have them be a part of this event.”

The guest speakers are:

Dr. Felicia Phillips

Dr. Felicia Phillips is a Master Business Strategist and President of The U.S. Business Women’s Network.  Her award-winning Agency, PPICW, is headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia and is a strategic partner of the Small Business Administration and Delta Air Lines. Felicia has built her career on serving, educating and mentoring minority and women-owned small businesses. 

Felicia is a 29 year serial entrepreneur, a member of The Forbes Coaches Council and has been featured in The Huffington Post, Atlanta Journal & Constitution, Rolling Out and Upscale Magazines, CBS Better Mornings, FOX, BET, TLC and many other media outlets. Felicia has had the pleasure of working with Georgia State University’s Andrew Young School of Policy, Wells Fargo, Southern Company, city of Atlanta, IKEA, The Environmental Protection Agency and many other organizations. 

Dr. Phillips is a wife and mother of two adult children, Cierra Elise and Grant Alexzander, and resides in McDonough, GA. 

Dr. Linda Wiley

Dr. Linda G. Wiley is a certified diversity executive and certified relationship specialist and the CEO of Turning Point Leadership Group, LLC, an innovative relationship management firm specializing in diversity and inclusion. With more than 20 years of experience, Dr. Linda trains and coaches individuals and consults with organizations for more effective relationships in this diverse and complex world. The summit offers a great opportunity for business women to network and gather knowledge. It will also feature panel discussions.

“These PANELISTS bring a lot to the table,” Wells said. “I’m sure they have a lot of good information they will be sharing with women to enhance their professional and personal lives. It also is a great opportunity to network with other local women and women from other areas of the state.”
